About Us…
The Oxford Shake-speare Company offers affordable actor training for professional actors across the US, UK and Worldwide. The OSC focuses on two main offerings:
THE OVERSEAS PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP is a 10-day intensive for actors from across the US, UK and EU which includes training from OSC, RSC, Globe or RADA artists, masterclasses, rehearsals and performances of a Shakespeare play in its historic setting, such as THE MERCHANT OF VENICE at “Belmont” in Venice, MACBETH in Birnam Wood, Scotland and RICHARD III on Bosworth Field. Two Performance Workshops are offered every year, where actors send in video auditions months in advance, and once a role is offered, they learn their lines, and then meet in the designated city for the 10-day intensive.
THE NYC MASTERCLASSES are presented a few times a year, when actors appearing on Broadway meet with our students for a class and/or Q&A. These classes are announced as they arise, and anyone is welcome to register.
Those interested in our Programs should email us with the city where you live to be placed on our periodic list.
